it has been 2 years since the original track hit the Munich club scene and made the people scream. Reactions came from all over the world and the track made its way to several playlists and DJ-charts. It was originally released through Pastamusik and now gets resurrection through its remixers Kerosene, Yapacc and the artist himself here on Athletikk.

cracked - the lost dub tapes - 16 years after releasing two albums on spacefrogs (superstition records) CRACKED comes back with the lost dub tapes. four unreleased dub-tracks cooked by kerosene (force Inc.) and dr.scissors (electrolux). (original material - no computers were used).

Edgar 9000 taucht regelmässig in den Playlists bei Dave Clarke, Chris Fortier und Claus Bachor auf, seine Fans finden sich auf allen Kontinenten, er ist Resident eines der besten Clubs in Deutschland, der “Roten Sonne” in München.
Edgar 9000 featured vor allem seine analogen Lieblingsinstrumente PPG Wave 2.3, ARP 2600, einen russischen Aelita und den Roland SH-2, alles über ein analoges Pult aufgenommen. Beim Titeltrack “Sommerschleife” haben die schon vom Remix für seine “Pink Influenza A.W.A.R.E.” -EP auf Athletikk erfolgreichen “Sassy” aus Berlin mitgewirkt, der Rest der Stücke ist in einem relativ begrenzten Zeitrahmen im “First-Take” Prinzip entstanden.
